Mila is the Quebec AI Institute in Montreal. I was on the Applied ML Research Team, Mila’s applied AI consulting group.
What I Built
I built Venture Lens, an agentic platform for Mila Ventures. Startup intake forms go in, committee-ready memos come out. It was Mila’s first pilot of agentic AI for its own dev work.
Intake. Takes in onboarding forms and stores each raw submission.
Extract. Maps each form onto a fixed schema. Blanks stay blank.
Research. An agent searches the web and proposes edits to the memo.
Review. An analyst approves every edit before it lands.
Memo. A two-page memo per startup, exported to .docx in one click.
